Excursions by Minibus


Our team is glad to present to you some suggestions of excursions by minibus that will give you the opportunity to discover and enjoy Paris, the French provinces, and some other European locations.
Professional and multilingual chauffeurs-guides will pick you up at the Raphael and drop you off at the end of your visit.
All the minibuses are air-conditioned and can fit 8 passengers.

Panoramic Tour of Paris, Half day
This excursion will give you an insight into the history of Paris, with its main monuments and historical sites: Concorde Square - Louvre Museum - Seine river and its bridges - French Academy - Cité Island with the Palace of Justice and Notre-Dame Cathedral (stop and free time) Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) - the Latin Quarter with the Sorbonne and the Pantheon of famous French Men - Arch of Triumph - Champs-Elysées Avenue - Eiffel Tower (photo-stop) – Invalides with the dome of Napoleon's Tomb - Opera House. Free time in Montmartre (stop near Sacré-Coeur Basilica and the artists' square, Place du Tertre). 
The excursion ends with a walking tour of Montmartre: the Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre and Moulin de la Galette.
Everyday, departure at 8:15 am and 1:30 pm, rate : 63€


Paris Monuments and River Seine Cruise
This excursion will give you the opportunity to discover Paris, its history and great buildings with a commented tour of the city in minibus: Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Opéra, Notre-Dame cathedral, Saint-Germain des Prés… It will be followed by a one hour commented cruise on the Seine. Departure from the Eiffel Tower, the crew will welcome you on board of one of the three trimarans belonging to the “Bateaux Parisiens”, for the cruise. Entirely glass fitted, with a terrace behind and gangways all round, these boats are perfectly designed to discover and admire the rich architecture of the city. Excursion ends at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. No return to hotel.

Paris Full Day
A full day to discover Paris.

Our driver-guide will take you to see the major monuments and sites: Notre Dame Cathedral (stop and free time), Marais district, Louvre museum, Garnier's Opera, Vendôme square, Concorde square, Champs-Elysées avenue, Arch of Triumph, Invalides.
Lunch will be served at the new restaurant "Le 58 Eiffel" located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.
After lunch: free time to visit part of the Tower, then a boat cruise along the Seine from where you can admire the most beautiful monuments from a different point of view.
You will have free time a Montmartre to discover the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and the artist's square, Place du Tertre. Entrance ticket included.
Everyday, departure at 8.30am, duration 8 hours, rate: 156€ per person.

Versailles - Half day Guided tour
Our interpreter-guide invite you to experience the history of the Palace of Versailles which is one of the most important monuments in the world. Your guide will take you straight in without standing in line and lead you through the most beautiful rooms including the Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the queen's private apartment. Free time is planned at the end of the tour for walks in the French Gardens which are full of magnificent statues, busts and marble vases. Entrance tickets are included (Palace and Gardens).
Everyday except on Monday, departures from 8.15am and 1.15pm, duration 3:30 hours, rate: 94€ per person.


A full day at Versailles, Castle & Trianons
Guided visit of the Royal Apartments and then a walking tour to discover the park of the Château de Versailles. Enjoy lunch in the restaurant of “La Petite Venise”. In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided visit of the Petit and the Grand Trianons followed by the Queen’s Hamlet. Return to the Castle and take time to admire the statues in the gardens and buy some souvenirs. Entrance tickets included. Special Programme Fountains Show In addition to the usual programme we suggest that you wander around the groves and pools where the magnificent display of fountains reveals the skill and artistry of three centuries of French garden design and engineering. The display is accompanied by music from one of the famous composers from the court of Louis XIV.

Giverny - Claude Monet
Visit of Monet’s home and his gardens.
With your driver-guide, wander past the lilly pond and its famous japanese bridge, Monet's main sources of inspiration at the end of this life. Then, visit at your own pace the flower garden, the house and the former studio of the painter where art and nature become one.visit to the new "Musée des Impressionismes Giverny" before you return to Paris. Entrance tickets included.

Loire Valley Castles
You will be chauffeured by our driver-guide to a wonderful day in the Loire Valley. Discover the castles of Chambord, Amboise and Chenonceau. (admission tickets to the castles and lunch with wine included).
Departures Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 6.15am , duration around 12 hours, rate is 185€ per person. Transfert to and from the Raphael in Paris.


Mont Saint-Michel - By coach
This tour is not operated by minivan

We invite you to discover this amazing site between the sky and the sea.
Rocky island located in the biggest bay in Europe, the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, and rightly named "The Marvel of the Western World" is still one of the most famous pilgrimage centers since the Middle Ages. Drive through the green landscapes of the Normandy region.
Lunch with the famous "Omelette" at noon at the Relais Saint-Michel facing the Mount (drink included).
Guided visit to the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey. Free time to stroll around the village and departure from Mont Saint-Michel at around 4.30pm. Stop on the way back to Paris on the motorway.
Departure everyday in summer except on sunday and May 1st.

D.Day and Normandy Tour in Minivan
Travel through Normandy as far as the Pointe du Hoc, well-known for the assault of the heroic Rangers. Free time to visit.  Then onto the American Cemetery in Colleville, where 9386 soldiers are resting, for an emotional visit. In 2007 a new VISITOR CENTER has been created to commemorate the operations of June 6th 1944.You will also discover the bloody “Omaha Beach” and have time to spend some moments on it before lunch.  Lunch is served at the “Ferme de la Rançonnière” (13th century) in the village of Crépon.  In the early afternoon, you will see the ruins of the Arromanches’ artificial harbour (built by the Allies in less than 15 days).  We suggest you then to see the film “The price of Freedom” at the cinema Arromanches 360. This exceptional 20-minute film on 9 screens in a circular room combines library shots that have never been released and were taken in June 1944 by war correspondents, with current shots taken in these same places where peace has been restored.  Finally, you continue along the coasts of Gold and arrive at Juno Beach. Guided visit of Juno Beach to explore the remains of the Atlantic Wall before returning to Paris.
