Paris
is one of the most important European destinations for
business travelers.
All along the year, thousands trade fairs, congresses
and professional shows take place in our city.
The main trade fairs areas are Parc
des Expositions de la Porte de
Versailles,
located in the city centre, and Paris-Nord
Villepinte,
located near Paris-CDG airport (20 KM from the city
centre).
Some other exhibitions centers are also available
:

Le Bourget (where
the Paris Air Show takes place alternately with
Farnborough, in England, every other year)
•
Carrousel du Louvre (where
many of the "haute-couture" fashion shows take place)
•
Palais des Congrès-Porte
Maillot, CNIT-La Défense (Apple Expo...)
•
Espace Champerret (many
"collectors" trade fairs, for records, stamps...).

The
concierge tips :
When
important trade fairs and professional shows take
place in Paris, the traffic is always heavy, mainly to and
from Villepinte, le Bourget (during the Air Show) and Porte
de Versailles.
Consequently, taxis are always very difficult to find at
peak hours (early morning and late afternoon).
We suggest our guests either to use the Metro and train
system, or to ask for a private car & driver
service.
