Mobile Phones Rental... or not

We
know how important it is today to stay in contact and to be
reachable during a professional or leisurly stay.
Unfortunatly, the different phone networks, notably the
American, are hardly compatible.
Consequently, you will find it difficult to use your cell
phone during your visit.
Several solutions are offered to you:

Rent a phone in Paris, for the length of your
stay.
This
is usually the most expensive solution, except if your stay
doesn't extend one or two days only.
The average price per day is 5 € (rental fee) + 0,50
€ per minute (national) and 1,60 €
(international) + 20 € for delivery service at the
hotel.
•
Bring your own mobile phone (unlocked) and buy a new chip
in Paris
with a prepaid calling card (SFR La Carte, Mobicarte
Orange).
This will cost you roughly 30 € (chip + prepaid card).
You will be able to buy new prepaid cards for a new credit
of communications in all the tobacco shops in
Paris.
A valid passport will be necessary to by the pack.

Buy a new phone with a prepaid pack (chip + calling card)
in Paris.
Prepaid
pack can be available in most of the phone shops for less
than 50 € (SFR La Carte with mobile - Mobicarte Orange
with mobile).
